MALICIOUS DUBBING/TRANSLATION: Hikaru no Go

this is me posting...after a gazillion reboots



A recent post that mentions QTV reminded me some lame-ass deeds the dubbing team had done to Hikaru No Go.

They REALLY MADE TOUYA'S DIALOGUE DO A 180. One of the bullshitting they have done was in that Shindo Kaoi Arc wherein Touya persuades Yun-sensei that he'd be 3rd chair, because he really really wants to have fun fight Hikaru. "Let me be 3rd captain!" *insert growl*

And the dubbing farted:

Touya : But, I'm not ready to fight Hikaru.

WTF Seriously, people, they corrupted the anime. *sigh* It's like a stylized Touya bashing. -_-"" The voices SUCK, the sound editing SUCKS and the translation is unreliable. I am avoiding QTV forever.

eeeehh??! Rainier?????!! Omg he's soo talentless..No offense...but jeez! WHY?!

Why my Uryuu!!!!!!!! GMA/QTV has the worst dubbing EVAH! At least ABC 5's Sailormoon Team was not that half-bad. As long as it's QTV or GMA it will suck big time (maybe not all the time but most of the time...wait-- all the time)

ABS has a good (if not great) dub on Naruto. The translation is very natural, despite the not-so-smooth voices. IBC 13 (when they were dubbing then) was very technically clean. The sound editing is admirable.

But GMA and QTV, SH1TTY DUBBING!!! Pardon the language.

zOMG, yeah. I was like, "WTF RAINIER VOICING ISHIDA?!" I never thought they would be even USED in one freaking sentence. [Well, you're not offending me that's for sure. YUCK-NESS.]

YEAH. WORST DUBBING EVE~R. [Is the TeniPuri DUB an exception..? It's okay IMO... Well, kinda.]

IBC?! DUBBING?! WTF?! What show..?! I didn't know they had anime shows too...

they dubbed yuu yuu hakusho (ghostfighter) and time quest. :3 GMA is broadcasting Yuu Yuu with IBC's dub so it's decent. The rest of it...total crap. You're right, tenipuri is alright dubbing wise...but the sound quality is HORRIBLE. Can't hear what they're saying sometimes... good thing there are torrents. XD
