To my quiet side of my flist:

As of yesterday, we can no longer create basic accounts. Flist, if you're doing the mid-year LJ moving, your new shiny account will be Plus. No more Basic Accounts progeny, although existing basic accounts will not be terminated. (yet -- Not holding my breath)

We will not also be able to revert to basic accounts. The generic account now is "Plus". Once paid time expires, it reverts to a Plus Account, not Basic. D:

EDIT:
According to a support volunteer intrepia:
Accounts with a userid below 15136000 can still convert back to Basic.

You can find the userid beside your username.
